Kimberly Jackson, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Double Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry & Family Medicine

Compassionate Care for Every Stage of a Woman’s Life

I’m a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience, specializing in women’s mental health and wellness.

My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each woman’s unique journey.

In addition to my clinical practice, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a professor at the College of New Rochelle in New York, helping train the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Education & Training

My academic path began at New York University, followed by master’s degrees from George Washington University and Pace University.

I completed advanced specialty training in women’s mental health, perinatal, and reproductive psychiatry through Postpartum Support International (PSI). To further deepen my expertise, I completed a year of training with the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry (NCRP) and am currently participating in Massachusetts General Hospital’s inaugural Masterclass for Perinatal Mental Health.

Additionally, I completed a fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, which enriched my understanding of how life experiences shape emotional well-being and resilience.

My Approach

I believe in meeting every woman where she is—with empathy, understanding, and practical support. My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, focusing on your whole self, not just your symptoms.

When you work with me, I will:

  • Take the time to listen and truly hear what you have to say

  • Value your feelings, opinions, and lived experiences

  • Consider your interests, priorities, and limitations

  • Clearly explain your options—including the pros and cons of each

  • Work alongside you to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and goals

My Passion

I’m passionate about helping women navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence—whether that’s adjusting to motherhood, managing mood or anxiety symptoms, or finding balance through changing hormonal stages.

No matter where you are in your journey, you deserve care that honors both your strength and your story.
