Kimberly Jackson, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Double Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry & Family Medicine
I am a double board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience in healthcare. My work focuses on supporting women through a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions with thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care.
Who I Work With
I often work with women who are navigating:
• pregnancy, IVF, or pregnancy loss
• anxiety, OCD, trauma, or depression in high-functioning professionals
• ADHD diagnosed in adulthood
• postpartum mood and anxiety disorders
Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and accomplished, yet feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck. My goal is to provide a supportive space where we can explore options and develop a treatment plan that helps you feel more balanced and supported.
My Approach
My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, focusing on the whole person rather than just symptoms. I believe in providing care that is collaborative, compassionate, and respectful of your individual experience.
When you work with me, I will:
• Take the time to listen and truly understand your concerns
• Value your experiences, perspectives, and priorities
• Consider your goals, interests, and personal circumstances
• Clearly explain treatment options, including benefits and risks
• Work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs
Education and Training
My academic path began at New York University, followed by master’s degrees from George Washington University and Pace University.
I completed advanced specialty training in women’s mental health, perinatal, and reproductive psychiatry through Postpartum Support International (PSI), the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry (NCRP), and Massachusetts General Hospital.
I also completed a fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute (NYPSI).
In addition to my clinical work, I previously served as a professor at the College of New Rochelle in New York, helping train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Why I Created Well Space
Throughout my career, I have been drawn to supporting women through some of life’s most complex and meaningful transitions—whether navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum changes, or the pressures of demanding careers and family life.
I created Well Space to offer thoughtful, specialized psychiatric care where women feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore treatment options that truly fit their needs and goals.
