October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to pause, reflect, and honor the countless families who have experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. While these losses are far more common than many realize, they are too often carried in silence.
At Well Space, we specialize in pregnancy and postpartum mental health, and we know how deeply these experiences affect emotional well-being. The grief that follows pregnancy or infant loss can be overwhelming, isolating, and complex. It may bring feelings of sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, or even numbness. For many, it also brings the invisible weight of navigating these emotions while moving through a world that doesn’t always acknowledge the depth and significance of these losses.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month reminds us of the importance of creating space for these stories to be heard, honored, and validated. Every parent’s journey is unique, and every loss is significant.
